I have frizzy and colour treated hair, so am often in search of smoothing products to assist with this. I've used Pantene products on and off for a while and find that it's hard to go past the value for money that Pantene provides (added bonus if you purchase when half price at Coles!) This conditioner is bright white and has a pleasant fragrance that I associate with all Pantene products. I need a decent amount on my thick, dry hair and let this product sit for a few mins before rinsing off. I found that after use, my hair was more manageable and looked smoother.

This foundation comes in a heavy and durable glass bottle with cute gold pump dispenser. I found that one pump was enough to provide adequate coverage across my face and neck. The shade that I picked seemed to suit my skin very well and melted in on application. As someone with red/acne prone skin, I need at least a medium-level coverage from my foundation and this delivered. It blended easily without creasing and lasted for most of the day. Some make-up products are definitely worth the price tag and just have a luxe feel to them, and this is definitely one of those products. Will definitely repurchase.

This hair oil is easily dispensed from the flip top lid. It's slightly runny which can be difficult to control, and a little goes a long way with this product. I have coarse, frizzy hair that needs to be infused with ultra-moisturising products prior to styling and this was definitely effective at doing the job. It can leave hair looking greasy if too much is applied or if it is applied closer to the roots, so I made sure to apply to the ends and mid-length of my hair. This hair oil smelt fantastic and was a great addition to my styling routine.

This conditioner comes in a stylish deep-red bottle with matching shampoo. The conditioner is thick and has a lovely fragrance that lingers slightly after application. The flip lid is sturdy and the traditional placement on the bottom allows for easy distribution. I have colour-treated hair, so am always looking for hair products that will condition my dry lengths and ends. I found that overall, my hair was left feeling soft and well-conditioned and that this is a great conditioner for those on a budget.

This handwash comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser which is sturdy and durable (sometimes they can be quite flimsy on hand wash bottles). One pump is enough to distribute a thorough clean and lather. The best thing about this wash is the fragrance - citrusy and fresh and just smells really pleasant and clean overall. This wash cleans hands without being overly drying. It is a great addition to any bathroom or kitchen and the antibacterial nature of the hand wash leave you feeling reassured that your hands are clean and germ free after each use.

This Olay cream comes in a typical Olay-style pot which is red in colour and with a silver screw top lid. The cream itself is bright white and has a medium-thick texture, however I found that this absorbed very quickly into my skin and felt lightweight. I also found that a little goes a long way, so only needed small amounts to cover large areas. The cream has a distinct and pleasant fragrance - I found that the first couple of times of using this that the fragrance lingered for most of the day, however I must have become used to it as I can no longer smell it. I've found that the texture of my skin appears smoother after just 3 weeks of using. I generally love Olay products and this is again one that did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying other products in this range. The only very small disappointment for me is that it doesn't contain SPF, but that can be remedied with other products!

This toner comes in a plastic bottle with a sturdy flip-top cap (would be comfortable taking this in a suitcase and no spillages here). The toner itself is a clear liquid. It has a mild fragrance and I could smell the chamomile more than anything else (unfortunately for me, I'm not a huge chamomile fan although it was not overpowering). I experienced a very mild tingly sensation on application, but no redness or irritation. It seemed to compliment other skincare products that I was using at the time and my skin looked clearer and brighter when using.

I've been trying to move away from aerosol and chemical-based deodorants and so thought that I would give this more natural product a try. The stick deodorant comes in a nondescript, natural looking tube with a screw lid. The actual deodorant requires some twisting and I found the mechanism a little stiff. It has a pleasant, fresh odour that isn't overpowering and disappointingly, doesn't really last. I found that I had to press quite hard into the armpit to feel as though I had applied any product. Although I wasn't noticeably sweaty (I assume because the product was working), the odour that came from me after the course of a hot day was really not pleasant and made me quite self-conscious (let's not even talk about after I've been for a run!!). Unfortunately, this hasn't convinced me that I can confidently switch to a more natural underarm product.

Essie nail polishes come in a wide range of colours. I'm a big fan of red colours - particularly those in a darker hue - and it was great to see so many versions of red to choose from. The Essie polishes come in a sturdy glass bottle with a good-quality brush that doesn't shed. The polish was liquidy enough to distribute evenly across the nail and provided a great cover without appearing clumpy. I found that two coats was enough to create the desired effect, although did find that it didn't last for too long without chipping. Unfortunately, I was only able to use this a few times before it got dropped on my living room floor, and although the glass bottle seems sturdy enough, if didn't withstand a fall from height unfortunately! Thankfully, it did clean off with nail polish remover

This hand cream comes in a sturdy tube with a flip-top cap at the bottom. The cap is solid enough to stand the tube on which is helpful in distributing the product, particularly towards the end. The hand cream is thick and white in consistency. It has a beautiful fragrance that lingers for a little while after application. Although on the thicker side, this cream absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It's fantastic that this product has UV protection built in, as this can often be part of the body that gets missed in that regard. Also a bonus point for being so reasonably priced.
